The expected base pay range for this position is:Bay Area: $194,000 - $262,500

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at ).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Responsibilities

鈼� Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms鈼� Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes鈼� Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills

鈼� Providing design leadership within a team by collaborating with product managers, analysts, researchers, writers, and engineering partners to create outstanding customer experiences鈼� Use facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you鈼� Effectively present and communicate your designs and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management鈼� Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices鈼� Drive design decisions through data by partnering with our analytics team鈼� Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight鈼� Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system鈼� Leverage iterative prototyping to quickly test concepts and learn from customers using a variety of methodologies.鈼� Effectively communicate design approach and demonstrate strong storytelling techniques to inspire the team.鈼� Coaching and mentoring more junior designers on the team in craft and development of key hard and soft skills.

Qualifications

鈼� 8+ years of professional experience in interaction design, product design, or related field鈼� Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field. Equivalent work experience will be considered鈼� Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies鈼� Has worked in environments of experimentation where product goals may not have a clearly defined end state鈼� Worked (even briefly) with or in large enterprises so the pace of working with these companies is not foreign

鈼� Experience working in organizations with robust design systems鈼� Has worked on products from concept to code (end-to-end)鈼� Portfolio that demonstrates products with complex end-to-end thinking and dependencies鈼� Deep knowledge of design principles, methods, layout and composition, interpreting and applying a standardized design system鈼� Deep empathy for customer problems and understanding of business needs and goals鈼� Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results鈼� Expert at conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing and prototyping鈼� Strong attention to detail, organizational and documentation skills. Proficient in development hand-off, including QA-ing designs and articulating implementation details/specs in user stories鈼� Mastery of Figma, auto-layout鈼� Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator鈼� Strong portfolio demonstrating strong craft and collaborative process

鈼� Comfortable working with UxR (running user tests & analyzing data, experience with evaluative and generative research); prototyping; working on finance and data related projects/products
