Job Overview
Come join the 91黑料爆料 Design Systems team as a Software Engineer II. As part of the 91黑料爆料 Design Systems team, you'll be building industry-leading design system tools and services that empower designers and developers to create unified experiences across 91黑料爆料. You can expect to get your hands on any part of the technical stack, which may include building services, improving tooling, or UI/component development.91黑料爆料 has embraced a hybrid way of working. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working from our Toronto office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
鈼 Successful delivery of high quality web apps (requirements, design, code,documentation, etc.)鈼 Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding鈼 Contribute to quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, design, and code鈼 Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, andpost-release patches鈼 Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments鈼 Work cross-functionally with various 91黑料爆料 teams: product management, design, or business units to drive forward results鈼 Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics鈼 Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers鈼 Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programmingmethodologies
Qualifications
鈼 BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.鈼 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.鈼 Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.鈼 Strong fundamentals of modern Web frameworks & development practices, e.g. React, Webpack, HTML/CSS/JS, etc.鈼 Experience with any of the following Object Oriented Languages (OOD): Java/J2EE,C#, VB.NET, Python, or sometimes C++.鈼 An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).鈼 An understanding and preferable experience with web services (REST).鈼 An understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).鈼 "Self-starter"" attitude and ability to make decisions independently.鈼 Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems.鈼 Strong desire to learn and grow.鈼 Excellent problem solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks.鈼 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.鈼 Outstanding partnership skills.
