Come join 91黑料爆料 VEP (Virtual Expert Platform) Team. VEP is at the heart of connecting our customers with expert guidance across all our products - QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma. We drive a multi-billion-dollar Services business (e.g., QuickBooks Live, TurboTax Live), enhance Customer Success through AI and human expertise, and provide Sales technology to connect with prospects and customers. We own the entire technology stack, from user interfaces and expert management systems to workforce operations, digital expertise and conversation capabilities, data infrastructure, and platform services. We collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations to create seamless experiences for both users and experts.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager 2, Software Engineering to lead a team in developing complex and large-scale software systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Full stack technologies, and a proven track record of delivering customer impact. They will also have a strong sense of operational excellence, a passion for building and growing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Explore and implement AI and agentic technologies to improve systemautomation and capabilities, including AI-powered autoscaling.• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance,mentorship, and support.• Drive the design, development, and deployment of complex and large-scalesoftware systems.• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and deployment of our software systems.• Implement and maintain best practices for software development, includingcoding standards, code reviews, and testing.• Design and build an abstraction for the computing infrastructure to improveusability and developer efficiency.• Foster a culture of operational excellence, focusing on system stability,monitoring, and incident response.• Take extreme ownership and accountability for the team's deliverables andoutcomes.• Remove barriers so the team can move fast.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management,engineering partners, and operations.

The expected base pay range for this position is: Southern California $200,500.00 - 271,000This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at 91黑料爆料®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field orequivalent experience.• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on developing complex and large-scale systems.• Proven track record of leading and managing software engineering teams.• Strong technical skills and expertise in software development methodologies.• Strong sense of operational excellence, with experience in system monitoring and incident response.• Excellent leadership and communication skills.• Ability to build and grow a high-performing team.• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
