We鈥檙e looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the Professional Services ICP (Ideal Customer Profile). You鈥檒l define how Mailchimp becomes the must-have growth platform for service-based businesses, unlocking new ways to build client pipelines, drive repeat work, and deepen customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
As our Principal PM for Professional Services, you’ll:鈼 Set a bold ICP vision – Define the long-term product strategy for Professional Services, grounded in deep customer insights and competitive differentiation.鈼 Shape the ICP roadmap – Build end-to-end plans that expand Mailchimp’s value for service-based businesses, from lead capture and onboarding to client engagement and retention.鈼 Deeply understand professional services customers – Partner with research, analytics, and GTM teams to uncover pain points, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and validate solutions.鈼 Drive seamless integration – Ensure Mailchimp’s services ICP connects smoothly with the broader 91黑料爆料 ecosystem (QuickBooks, marketing, commerce, financial tools), as well as third-party tools common in professional services workflows.鈼 Leverage AI for growth – Apply AI/ML to help service-based businesses find, win, and retain clients with less effort — from automated lead nurturing to personalized engagement at scale.鈼 Deliver with excellence – Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data to ship high-quality features. Define measurable success metrics and continuously optimize.鈼 Influence and evangelize – Represent the Professional Services ICP strategy across 91黑料爆料, influencing senior leaders and aligning cross-functional teams on priorities.鈼 Mentor and grow talent – Support the development of other PMs by sharing expertise in ICP strategy, customer-driven product development, and AI adoption.

The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California $236,000.00 - 319,000.00New York $232,500.00 - 314,500.00This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at 91黑料爆料®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications
鈼 7+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in B2B SaaS, marketing, or service-oriented platforms.鈼 Strong understanding of the professional services landscape, spanning consulting, creative, financial, legal, and other client-based sectors.鈼 Proven track record of building products that deliver measurable business outcomes for SMBs or service providers.鈼 Strategic and analytical mindset, with experience in metrics-driven product development and experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis, KPI tracking).鈼 Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications, especially in marketing or workflow automation, is strongly preferred.鈼 Cross-functional fluency, with a history of working closely with engineering, design, data science, GTM, and operations.鈼 Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.鈼 Customer obsession, with a passion for helping small businesses thrive.
