The structured data acquired is used in workflows from Personal Finance, Taxes and running businesses, thus powering prosperity around the world. Your job includes the following:

Responsibilities

鈼� Drives architecture decisions, influences and contributes to ML platform architecture and strategy聽

鈼� Creates a multi-year vision that connects product strategy with technology strategy聽

鈼� Practices excellent leadership and communication skills to influence and lead teams and evangelize AI across the organization and the larger company聽

鈼� Leads team鈥檚 work in one or more of ML, NLP, Statistics, or Optimization, and performs hands-on work in these domains.聽

鈼� Weighs ROI considerations of general and tailored capabilities for projects in the team

聽鈼� Creates new capabilities and technology shifts that solve critical business problems

聽鈼� Pushes the boundaries of ML by developing foundational methods and novel applications from state-of-the-art ML technologies and industry trends聽

鈼� Influences business leaders and architects around the company to shape mission-critical projects

聽鈼� Leads team and partners to the successful delivery and integration of ML solutions

聽鈼� Conducts design reviews, and holds teams to technical and operational rigor.聽

鈼� Acts as an advisor in overseeing and mentoring the work of colleagues toward the building of a vibrant practice community

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Theoretical/Computational Physics, or related field or equivalent work experience聽
• Solid knowledge of statistical techniques
• 聽3+ years as either a lead in a data science role or a management position in data science聽
• Strong communication skills and proven experience as an influencer at the executive level聽
• Hands-on programming experience in one or more of: ML, NLP, Statistics, or Optimization聽
• 6+ years鈥� experience manipulating large datasets and using databases (e.g. R, SQL, S-Plus, etc.)聽
• 6+ years鈥� experience with a general-purpose programming language (e.g. Python, Scala, etc.)

Strongly Preferred:

• 聽PhD in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Theoretical/Computational Physics, or related field聽
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of: ML, NLP, Statistics, or Optimization聽
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with ML pipelines, processes, and design patterns聽
• Computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and implications of computer architecture on software performance (e.g., I/O and memory tuning).聽
• Software engineering fundamentals: version control systems (i.e. Git, Github) and workflows, and ability to write production-ready code聽
• Proven track record of influencing business leaders to shape mission-critical projects聽
• Proven track record of leading teams to successful delivery of ML solutions聽
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively contribute to technical teams and make presentations to a variety of technical and business personnel
